Randolph County custody records are split among several agencies. The Sheriff’s Law Enforcement Office holds the arrest and incident material it creates, but WVDCR operates Tygart Valley Regional Jail and holds the regional-jail release or transfer transaction. Court clerks provide the orders that authorize bond, dismissal, sentencing, or probation.

- For a released person or a release transaction, start with the full search and records path, then contact WVDCR or the appropriate clerk.
- For state parole, call the Elkins Parole Office at 304-637-0379; for court probation, call 304-636-4363 and use the probation and parole reference.
- For a same-day departure question, use the 24-hour release fallback; Randolph County publishes no official recent-release feed.
- For a prison date or alert, compare the projected release explanation with the VINELink inmate search.
- For Tygart Valley, call 304-637-0382. For Huttonsville, call 304-335-2291.
- For a state-prison record, use WVDCR Records and the state prison offender search, not the regional-jail roster.
- For federal or immigration custody, use the BOP locator or ICE ODLS. Those systems do not share the Randolph County search.
